Repair development is a high priority with us. Once a need for a
repair has been identified, the best way to begin the repair development
process is for our customer to send a scrap part to our facility,
as well as any technical data that is available. If reverse engineering
is required, a new part may be needed to be sent to Repairtech to
borrow in order to provide us with the best possible data. Our own in-house Designated Engineering Representative (DER) will contribute to the design of an FAA approved repair procedure.
The end result is a repaired item that is reliable and cost effective.
The delivery time is often substantially less than the delay incurred
in waiting for a new part. In many cases, the salvage procedure
provides superior erosion and wear resistance.
